Mens magnetic bracelets; 13 facts about magnets

Here at DEMI+CO we like to ensure we know everything there is to know about our jewellery, metals, finishes and more. This week we have been taking a closer look at magnets and our magnetic jewellery. In recent times there have been some more research done in to magnets and its always good for us to be kept updated and to share this information with you our customers.

All our magnetic bracelets use the same neodymium magnets which are one of the smallest but still powerful magnets around. The strength of all magnets are measured by gauss, this is the unit of measurement of a magnetic field. One gauss is one maxwell per square centimetre of magnetic induction (magnetic field). All our bracelets have between 4 to 22 magnets depending on weather they are bangles or link bracelets (link bracelets have a bit more than the bangles). Our magnetic rings have 2 magnets per ring and each magnet has 2,400 gauss strength which gives enough magnetic therapy whilst being safe.

We hope that you find this article useful, do look through all the details we have put together with regards to magnetic bracelets, magnetic therapy and facts about magnets. Also do have a read of our most frequently asked questions and answers – these for us are like gold dust incredibly useful to know. Last but my by no means least we have our amazing magnetic bracelets – do have a browse, add to cart and enjoy.

Where is the best place to wear a magnetic bracelet?

The best place to wear a magnetic bracelet is on the wrist, this is the easiest place to wear as it is easy to take on and off and won’t get caught on anything. The wrist is also an acupressure/meridian point so wearing a magnetic bracelet on your wrist will help with the flow of blood. You can also wear magnetic bracelets on your ankles but it can be a bit uncomfortable with socks and shoes. it is a personal preference so try for yourself and see what feels comfortable.

How do I choose a magnetic bracelet?

There are many things that need to be considered when choosing a magnetic bracelet:

Metals – depending on personal aesthetic preferences and health preferences you can choose between copper, pewter, stainless steel and titanium. Each one has their own pros and cons.

Sizing - Using a fabric measuring tape or a piece of string and ruler measure your wrist to find out your wrist size. This will help you to choose a bracelet that will feel comfortable to wear. Copper bangles are good if your wrist size fluctuates as this will adjust with your wrist.

Magnetic strength – to ensure you get the best possible strength go for neodymium magnets which are the smallest magnets but have the most strength. Some bracelets will have anything between two and twenty magnets per bracelet and each magnet will be measure in gauss for it’s strength. All our magnets have a 2,400 gauss power.

Is it OK to wear two magnetic bracelets?

You can wear multiple magnetic bracelets if you wish, the most we would recommend is two. If you do wish to wear more you can, just ensure it feels comfortable for you. Some of our customers also wear magnetic earrings, necklace and sometimes a bracelet too – although magnets are harmless, it is best to ensure that you wear possibly only two magnetic items at a time to be on the safe side.
