Accessorising is key to turning any outfit in to a look, it can reflect your style and your personality. Overdoing it with the accessories can be detrimental and under doing can also look unfinished. We at DEMI+CO have put together our top tips on how to style your outfits to ensure your accessories give you that polished look.

1. High neck
If you are wearing a high neck outfit or a top which has a lot of neck detailing then go for statement studs. You don’t want the neck area to look to fussy or over complicated you want the eye to be drawn straight to your statement earrings.

2. Long sleeves
Don’t overdo accessories and jewellery on your hands if you are wearing long sleeves, either a statement cuff or a statement rings will do all the talking. Same as above you don’t want to clutter your arm one statement item will complement fussy or long sleeves.

3. Too much detail
If you are wearing a heavy outfit that has a lot of detailing, embroidery or colours then go easy on the jewellery. One statement piece will be enough to add interest without looking over done!

4. Choose your signature style
What do you love wearing the most when it comes to jewellery? Chunky cuffs, stacking rings, bundles or bangles or statement earrings, what ever you like don’t be afraid to rock this the most to ensure it becomes your signature look!

5. Long lines
Long skirts and long dresses look beautiful styled with longer earrings and long necklaces. The accessories will draw the eye up towards the jewellery and an elegant touch to your outfit.

6. Theme it up
Match your jewellery to your outfit style, e.g. Going for boho chic? Then Ethnic style, bright colour, beads and tassel are going to work best. Pears will look great if your after a classic, prim look and sparklers will bring out your inner disco diva.

7. Stand alone statements
When wearing statement pieces be it a statement ring, earrings or necklace skip any other jewellery, you want that piece to shine.

8. Stack them
If you are wearing a statement ring then one ring alone is enough, if you are wearing simpler stacking rings then go with two per hand. Choose simpler styles that compliment each other but also have some difference in shape and colour.

When we first started DEMI+CO our first few magnetic bracelets were all copper, we never realised the popularity of copper bracelets and copper magnetic bracelets till our first few orders were made and then they just took off. Since then, we have continued to add to our copper magnetic bracelet collection making it one our largest magnetic bracelet collection to date. The dual benefits of copper and magnets is what makes the bracelets appealing as well as the aesthetic rose coloured hue of copper which gives it its warmth and shine. Recent requests of copper bracelets without magnets have resulted in us also adding a no magnets range too.

We have covered stainless steel as a topic many a times over the years with a number of blog posts, we do get a lot of customer questions and feedback over our stainless steel bracelets. Stainless steel is an incredibly versatile metal. Majority of our customers prefer stainless steel magnetic bracelets over any other metal. Stainless steel has so many benefits and is a classic all-rounder when it comes to mens stainless steel bracelets and womens stainless steel bracelets. We find that for those who require a magnetic bracelet but have an active lifestyle stainless steel seems to be the best option due to its durability and flexibility over a longer period of time.
